FMCSA Lead Generator Training
Follow these four steps. Do not use PDFs, screenshots, data dictionaries, crash files, inspection files, violation files, or weekly register letters as the normal input.
Step 1 — Download Company Census File
1Open the Company Census File page
Click the button below. On the DOT page, click Export, then choose CSV.
Open Company Census FilePut the downloaded CSV into: Input_Census
Step 2 — Download AuthHist - All With History
2Open the AuthHist page
Click the button below. On the DOT page, click Export, then choose CSV.
Open AuthHist - All With HistoryPut the downloaded CSV into: Input_AuthHist
Step 3 — Run the generator
3Double-click the runner
Open the generator folder and double-click:
RUN_CALL_LIST_GENERATOR_WINDOWS.cmd
Leave the black window open until it finishes.
Step 4 — Open your call list
4Open the Output folder
Open:
Output → Dispatcher_Call_List.csv
This is the dispatcher-ready call list, sorted newest-to-oldest by authority action date.
What the output files mean
- Dispatcher_Call_List.csv — use this for calling.
- Carrier_Master_Import.csv — future portal/carrier database import.
- AuthHist_Dispatchable_DOT_Matches.csv — authority matches.
- Review_Only_Authority_Records.csv — broker/forwarder/household/passenger/review records.
- Import_Summary.txt — check this first if something looks wrong.
Use the leads for manual, compliant carrier prospecting only. No auto-dialing, scraping, spam texting, or broker-style freight allocation.
