What a dispatcher actually needs to budget.
Equitable startup is $209.98 one time. Active Equitable Contract Dispatchers must also maintain their own authorized Truckstop Pro subscription, paid to Truckstop, not Equitable. Including one estimated first Truckstop billing month, the combined initial planning total is $368.98. Beginning day 31, estimated combined access and Truckstop costs are $258.00/month before additional expenses, taxes and fees.
1. One-time Equitable startup: $209.98
- $149.99 — onboarding/setup; includes the first 30 days of Equitable portal access after approval and activation.
- $59.99 — licensed FMCSA Carrier Lead Generator; separate one-time purchase, using the dispatcher application email.
- Total paid to Equitable: $209.98. Two separate products; the total is not a third fee.
- Equitable does not require a separate LLC for its enrollment program; independent contractors remain responsible for applicable state/local requirements.
2. Required Truckstop Pro: estimated $159.00/month
- Required for active Equitable dispatch operations including live load searches, rate comparison and lane planning.
- Paid separately and directly to Truckstop using Equitable's partner link, not through an Equitable Stripe checkout.
- $159.00/month is a public planning estimate; the provider controls actual eligibility, allowed users, billed price, application charges, taxes and fees.
- Standalone Generator-only buyers do not need Truckstop Pro.
3. Estimated first-month startup: $368.98
- Equitable onboarding/setup: $149.99 one time
- Equitable FMCSA Generator: $59.99 one time
- Truckstop Pro: $159.00 estimated first monthly subscription payment
- Combined estimated initial total: $368.98, before Truckstop fees/taxes and any additional tools.
- The first 30 days of Equitable access are already included; do not add another $99.00 charge in the first 30 days.
4. Estimated ongoing monthly costs from day 31: $258.00
- Equitable dispatcher access: $99.00/month, authorized separately beginning day 31.
- Truckstop Pro: $159.00/month estimated, billed directly by Truckstop (including during the first 30 days if subscribed).
- Estimated combined ongoing: $258.00/month.
- Additional variable dispatcher-business overhead (phone, internet, other software, advertising, taxes) is not included. Enter actual costs in the Dispatcher Monthly Business Tools Ledger in your account.
- The Generator license and onboarding fees are one-time and are not added every month.
Managed-dispatch carrier charge
- One standard 7.5% linehaul service charge paid by the carrier: 6% dispatcher and 1.5% Equitable.
- Carrier-approved Truckstop-discovered loads require a total dispatch percentage of at least 7.5%; the Equitable portion is included, not added on top.
- Carrier freight proceeds belong to the carrier or authorized factor. Dispatcher-paid Truckstop expenses never belong on carrier operating expense sheets.
Eligibility & approval
- Dispatcher system access is for current U.S. residents, not U.S. citizens only.
- Applications, required documents, training and approval must be completed before protected portal activation.
- Carrier approval is required for every load. Truckstop subscriptions remain subject to provider account and carrier-authority policies.

Equitable managed dispatch
7.5% of linehaul
- 6% dispatcher compensation + 1.5% Equitable.
- The assigned dispatcher searches, evaluates, negotiates, documents, and manages the load workflow.
- The carrier keeps authority, freight money, operating limits, and final load approval.
- Equitable prioritizes carrier-requested lanes and carrier-authorized direct shipper development. Suitable broker and load-board loads may bridge the gap while relationships are developed; direct accounts are not guaranteed.
Digital products are separate
eBooks, fillable forms, workbooks, and bundles remain separate digital products. The $59.99 FMCSA Carrier Lead Generator may also be purchased separately, but a valid Generator license is required for new Equitable dispatcher enrollment.
