4% linehaul for carriers using the system directly.
This path is for carriers who want direct control of outreach, lane approval, and booking decisions while using Equitable's shipper database and carrier workflow tools.
Self-Dispatch Carrier Pricing
For owner-operators and small fleets that want to run their own outreach inside the Equitable carrier workflow.
New self-dispatch load records use a 4% booking/platform fee calculated from linehaul revenue only.
- Carrier controls outreach, lanes, rate floor, and booking decisions.
- Equitable provides database workflow, records, packet tools, document tracking, POD organization, and billing review support.
- Fuel surcharge and approved accessorials are excluded from the 4% calculation.
How this differs from dispatcher access
The 4% linehaul model is for approved carriers self-dispatching through the carrier workflow.
Dispatcher-system users follow the separate open-enrollment and ongoing access terms.
Historical protection: existing load and fee records keep the fee rate already saved on those records; new self-dispatch records use 4%.
What the 4% supports
- Nationwide shipper database access workflow
- Carrier-approved lane and outreach records
- Carrier packet and follow-up workflow
- Document tracking, POD organization, and billing review
- Compliance-focused outreach recordkeeping
What the 4% does not apply to
- Fuel surcharge
- Detention
- Layover
- Lumper or stop-off charges
- Equipment fees or per diem fees
- Other approved accessorial charges outside linehaul
Final billing follows the signed carrier agreement and the fee rate saved on each load record.
Which path is right for you?
| Path | Self-Dispatch Carrier | Dispatcher System User |
|---|---|---|
| Who it is for | Carriers managing their own outreach | Independent dispatchers operating the system |
| Cost structure | 4% of linehaul per booked self-dispatch load | 1% per dispatched load plus $99/month after the applicable 60-day waiver |
| Outreach control | Carrier works the carrier workflow directly | Dispatcher works for an authorized carrier; carrier approves lanes and loads |
| Use together? | Do not stack both models on the same load. The saved load record controls the applicable fee path. | |
Choose the access path that matches the real need.
Dispatcher access, carrier self-dispatch, eBooks, bundles, the FMCSA tool, and dispatch service are separate workflows.
