Carrier self-dispatch path

Use the shipper and load workflow yourself while keeping direct control.

Approved carriers can use the carrier portal to search carrier-fit shipper records, open protected contact information, log outreach, create approved loads, upload documents, track status, and review billing records.

What approved carriers receive

A carrier-side operating workflow—not unrestricted contact harvesting.

The system is designed to connect research, outreach, loads, documents, tracking, and billing records.

Carrier profile first

Save equipment, home base, lanes, no-go areas, deadhead, rate floor, restrictions, and contact information.

Local shipper search

Search by city, state, equipment, and available freight/commodity details.

Protected contacts

Full company and contact details remain protected until approved carrier access.

Manual outreach records

Log calls, results, notes, packet activity, opt-outs, and follow-up dates.

Carrier-approved load entry

Create the load only after you confirm the opportunity fits your carrier operation and you approve it.

Document management

Attach rate confirmation, BOL, POD, invoice, and supporting files to the load workflow.

Tracking and closeout

Save status updates, delays, missing paperwork, billing review, and final closeout.

Mobile carrier tools

Use the carrier portal on supported Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, and Mac devices.

Fee calculation

The 4% applies to linehaul only.

The saved load record and approved fee fields determine the calculation. Keep linehaul and accessorial amounts separated.

Revenue itemIncluded in 4% fee base?
LinehaulYes
Fuel surchargeNo
Approved detention, layover, TONU, lumper, or other accessorialNo, when properly identified as an approved accessorial
Historical load recordKeeps the rate already saved on that record
Self-dispatch workflow

Use the system in the same order every time.

The carrier is responsible for its own operating authority, safety, load decisions, and performance.

Apply and complete carrier intake

Provide authority, equipment, service area, lanes, rate floor, restrictions, and required documents.

Receive approved carrier portal access

Private shipper contacts and carrier workflow tools open only after approval.

Search only carrier-fit opportunities

Use your own approved equipment, lanes, capacity, and operating rules.

Log every outreach result

Record calls, notes, packets, follow-up, and opt-outs instead of keeping activity off-system.

Enter, document, and close approved loads

Keep load details, documents, tracking, billing review, and final closeout together.

Self-dispatch questions

Read the fee and access boundaries first.

Ask support before entering a load if the fee path or accessorial treatment is unclear.

Do I get the FMCSA Carrier Lead Generator?

No. The FMCSA generator is a dispatcher carrier-prospecting tool. Carrier self-dispatch access focuses on the carrier-side shipper and load workflow.

Does database access guarantee freight?

No. It supports research and outreach but does not guarantee freight, rates, contracts, responses, or income.

Can Equitable book a load I did not approve?

No. The carrier keeps final load approval.

Can I combine dispatch support and self-dispatch fees on one load?

No. Do not stack both models on the same load. The written relationship and saved load record control the path.

Next step

Move forward with the path that matches your real role.

Read the full offer before applying. Digital products, dispatcher platform access, carrier self-dispatch, and carrier dispatch support are separate unless a written offer clearly says otherwise.
