New independent dispatcher

Build the business in the correct order before you try to run loads.

Free social-media lessons can introduce dispatching. Equitable is designed to help an approved independent dispatcher move from business preparation into carrier prospecting, onboarding, carrier-authorized shipper outreach, load approval, documents, tracking, and closeout.

Before you apply

Start with accurate expectations.

A complete system can remove confusion, but it cannot replace the work of building and operating the business.

This is a business—not a job

You are applying to use a business operating system. Equitable does not hire you, assign guaranteed work, or promise earnings.

Approval comes before access

Application, identity/contact verification, acknowledgements, training, and administrative approval are required before private tools open.

Daily effort still matters

Results depend on prospecting, follow-up, carrier fit, market conditions, organization, communication, and execution.

Complete process

Follow the work in the correct no-loop order.

Do not jump directly from watching lessons to searching freight. The carrier relationship and operating rules come first.

Prepare the independent business

Choose a business name, contact method, basic recordkeeping, service agreement path, and equipment focus.

Apply for Equitable access

Complete the current open-enrollment application and all electronic acknowledgements.

Complete approval and training

Use the Training Center, current Operations Manual, and seven free dispatcher eBooks after approval.

Build a carrier prospect list

Use the FMCSA carrier lead workflow and import the call list into the Call Center.

Call and qualify one carrier at a time

Confirm equipment, authority, service area, preferred lanes, no-go areas, rate expectations, and business fit.

Onboard and protect the relationship

Collect the carrier packet, agreement, optional LPOA where applicable, permissions, and required documents.

Research only carrier-fit opportunities

Use the shipper database and broker/source tools only for a specific authorized carrier and approved lanes.

Qualify, present, and get approval

Confirm the rate, route, equipment, commodity, appointments, accessorials, paperwork, and carrier approval before commitment.

Run the load inside the system

Enter the load, attach documents, track status, collect BOL/POD records, and review invoicing.

Close the day and improve

Complete the performance and end-of-day review so follow-ups, documents, and next actions are not lost.

What approval unlocks

Training materials plus the live operating environment.

An eBook teaches a piece of the process. The platform organizes the live work.

Training Center

Beginner click-by-click instructions, workflow index, quick links, load workflow, and expanded glossary.

Seven free eBooks

Startup, onboarding, workflow, prompts, recruiting, business setup, and carrier-authorized shipper outreach.

FMCSA lead workflow

Generate and import carrier prospect lists from official FMCSA/DOT source files.

Call Center

Scripts, call results, notes, packet tools, follow-up status, and contact records.

Nationwide shipper database

Search carrier-fit prospects by location, equipment, and available record details after authorization.

Load and document system

Load entry, carrier approval, rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, tracking, and billing review.

Help on each page

Use page-specific help instead of guessing what a button or field is for.

Ongoing portal access

Continue using the operating platform while the required account terms remain active.

Fee timeline

Know what is waived and what still applies.

The waiver applies to the monthly access fee—not the 1% usage fee.

Activation day

The approved Dispatcher Portal activation date starts the 60-day waiver of the regular $99 monthly system-access fee.

Beginning day 61

The $99 monthly system-access subscription becomes required. Actual recurring charging starts only after Stripe checkout and authorization.

Beginner questions

Read these before submitting the application.

The correct expectations protect both the dispatcher and the carrier.

Will Equitable give me a job?

No. This is access to a business system for approved independent dispatchers.

Do I receive carriers automatically?

No. The system provides prospecting tools, scripts, records, and workflow. Carrier signups are not guaranteed.

Are the eBooks free after approval?

Yes. Approved dispatchers can download the seven current eBooks from the private Training Center at no extra charge.

Can I skip the carrier and search freight first?

No. The workflow is carrier-first. Freight research and outreach must stay tied to a specific authorized carrier, equipment, service area, and approved lanes.

Does the system guarantee loads or income?

No. It does not guarantee freight, rates, lanes, contracts, responses, revenue, or income.

Next step

Move forward with the path that matches your real role.

Read the full offer before applying. Digital products, dispatcher platform access, carrier self-dispatch, and carrier dispatch support are separate unless a written offer clearly says otherwise.
