Record arrival time, appointment time, release time, contact names, written instructions, photos where appropriate, receipts, and messages. Follow the rate confirmation notice requirements.
Common categories
- Detention: delay beyond the agreed free time.
- Layover: delay that holds the driver into another day or service period.
- TONU: truck ordered but not used, subject to written terms.
- Lumper, tarp, washout, and other accessorials: require receipts or agreed proof.
